© MURAKAMI

I went to the Takashi Murakami exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and took
this photo of his sculpture, Mr. Pointy. I really liked how his use of
colors are so well thought out. You can find the exhibit here.

NYEHAUS - Made In France

On Feb. 20th, I went to a gallery exhibit about French comic book artists and the ones that caught my eye were Sergio Toppi and Christian Lax. I liked the way Christian Lax worked with acetate and it was very similar to the style I experimented in my illustrations. Sergio Toppi's linework is very beautiful and I made a sketch of one of his works. The website to the gallery is www.nyehaus.com

This is a another sketch of Gustav Klimt I did at the museum on Sun. Jan., 13th. It is from the painting Pale Face in 1903.
Danae - Gustav Klimt

I did this drawing back in college, I wanted to try to create certain patterns within the figure and make the drawing my own than copying a painting.
